Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer at AeroFS you will create software used across our entire stack. This may involve:
  • Putting distributed systems theory into practice
  • Cross-platform high-performance networking code
  • Creating internally/externally facing applications and tools
  • And many more problems

We really, really want you to have the following:

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Expert knowledge of either C++ or Java (Shell Scripting and Objective-C are a great bonus)
  • Familiarity with the UNIX working environment

Ideally, you should also have experience with:

  • Highly scalable server architectures
  • Networking and Distributed Systems
  • Database background is a plus

AeroFS is looking for an aspiring sales professional who is prepared to manage the challenges and opportunities of selling to the highest levels of a company (CIO, CTO, Chief Security Officer, etc). The ideal candidate is tenacious, has a track record of success, and is motivated by a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Generate leads and opportunities through outbound and targeted prospecting
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.com
  • Work closely with VP of Sales to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in target accounts
  • Take ownership of building relationships with target accounts
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
  • Continuously learn in-depth knowledge of AeroFS distributed technology, industry trends, and competition
  • Evangelize the benefits of the private cloud

Qualifications:

  • Experience selling technology, particularly software
